Oh god damn - I just woke up with my mobile ringing on a private number and I pressed cancel by accident - was still asleep...

Now I don't know who it was! WAAAAAA!!!!!

Had a bit of a giggle last night - went to Spikey's and played loud music - old Birthday Party schtuf, Rammstein, Manson, Specimen and all sorts, had a glass of red wine before work...

Day of the Triffids was on tv at lunchtime and some people in our group were avidly discussing it, but getting the plot utterly mixed up with Little Shop of Horrors. Hahaha!

I made Jui-ehh!!! listen to Murder Dolls: Beyond the Valley of the...

(It's puerile and sweary and the subject matter makes me giggle like an idiot - teenage kicks!)

She hated it, so she made me listen to Slipknot.

I hated that.

(funny how they're both some of the same people - what a difference!!)

Had a broccoli and cauliflower cupasoup in the canteen - twas icky, but was all I had to eat (me starving). Went home at six and went to bed...slept too long and now I feel fuzzy/confuseled.

Oh, and _seraphim_'s post informed me about a new Nick Cave single - wahoo!!

NEW NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS SINGLE
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds release the debut single from their new double album on 6th September 2004. 'Nature Boy' will be available on CD and 7". It features the London Community Gospel Choir, and comes backed with 'She's Leaving You'.

Nature Boy!! Flippin' fantastic!!! My favourite EVER song (if it is the old Nat King Cole song)AND sung by my favourite EVER artist!! PERFECT!!

*doing backflips if only I could*

Going out tonight...it's a Zero's big gay nite out, with alienfox, Simon, Shauny et al!

Whee!!! Having a hot bath and getting into corsetry/big hair mode. Tranny Goth phaser set to stun...

Over and out.

If she's up for it, I want to see 'La Mala Educacion' (Bad Education):

Bad Education (La Mala Educacion) (15)

Dir. Pedro Almodovar, Spain, 2004, 104 mins, subtitled.
Cast. Gael Garcia Bernal, Fele Martinez, Daniel Giminez-Cacho, Javier Camara.

Almodovar's latest, the first Spanish film ever to open the Cannes Film Festival, is a noirish Hitchcockian thriller which enhances his reputation as one of the world's most consistent and interesting directors. Two men, one of whom is a film director, meet up in the 1980's, twenty years after they attended a Catholic school together during Franco's rule. Their stories are told using flashback sequences, both to the 60's and the 70's, and with a film within a film - a semi-autobiographical account of two teenage boys falling in love and having to contend with emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of a catholic priest. Visually sumptuous, with an intricate plot and excellent performances all round. Without a doubt one of this years most eagerly anticipated releases.

i had the soundtracks for about a year before i saw them.. i loooooove philip glass... and when i saw them it was like "cool, the pictures fit!"

never got round to seeing Baraka (the "third" in the series - not a glass soundtrack and apparently nowhere near as good.) hence it wanst included in the recent dvd boxset.

Telemarketers, keep slaying them, you Samurai so-and-so. That would make my life a bit easier.

That Cup-a-Soup sounds utterly disgusting. I'm sure it's on Slipknot's rider, along with Campinos and fresh-cut flowers.

It wasn't an all out disgusting cupasoup. It was passable as far as cupasoups go... But it wasn't entirely what I wanted lol!!
