Stretching and Yawning...it's no longer morning... [Sep. 9th, 2003|02:22 pm]
Miss Von Trapp
[Mood |happyhappy]
[Music |Sisters of Mercy : Bury Me Deep]

I only just woke up!!

I blame Snoopy!!

Or...the fact that I was playing Pokemon till about 5am...systematically levelling up my 'mon so that each one catches up with Mumfie (my Marshtomp)...they're all sat happily at lev 13 now...Mumfie is 20 tho...

...so I'd better go and play again...or at least have a cup of tea...

I'm feeling a bit better today. Will go to work tonight...can't put it off any longer, and I should be okay...just take some cough sweets and Ibuprofen with me just in case I feel a bit crappy later in the night.

I might not have time to update tommorrow as I have a Weird Cabaret meeting in the evening...plus I'm going over to wildgift93's house in the afternoon...need to txt her...would be easiest if we met in town at 2pm like before...

...so I'll most likely be updating again on Thursday before I go out to theatre AGAIN for the christmas show meeting...

I'm going to be at theatre regularly from now on every Wednesday and Thursday...and probably a lot in between!! Wahhoooo!!! I LOVE being busy!!!

*dances*

You can't blame snoopy. Snoopy's blameless.

But he's so squashy!! ...and he whispers to me to stay in bed and cuddle him longer...till I have to sit him on my chest and tell him that I have to get up now, and will see him later...

Don't let him fool you with the blameless act!!!

Yeah, yeah, we've heard it all before. I've used the excuse myself (well admittedly not with Snoopy, that just wouldn't be right, but I have the same problem from one or two of my plushies (who shall remain nameless as I wouldn't want to embarass them))

They're not going to forgive me for this!

Bagpuss. Grommit. Moomintroll. Pilchard. Tigger.

I've been threatened with no more snuggles if I grass any more of them up.

I think you're safe...I won't tell!!

My soffs have to go on a rotation system...in a single bed there isn't enough room for all of them! I don't want jealousy either...

Yay, magic, that run-up-to-Christmas-in-a-theatre feeling, sort of like the old nativity at school but better, an unfair comparison, I'll grant you.

Ha you think you are addicted, I was up for ages last night trying to unlock games on WarioWare Inc. Sadly there's this one game where you have to stop a book's pages flipping at a certain page, but I can't read the page numbers - booo.

Anyway, got my PS2 today! Sadly Soul Calibur 2 freezes during play, which really is getting me down, still, plenty more to be getting on with.

Can't wait to see this new fringe of yours, should be pretty cool. Enjoy the next few busy days.

Jiggly PUFF (ninja kicks your head)

Jack keeps narrating when he plays. "Yes dark lord. I shall smite them as you say, dark lord... "

Oh dear!!

I usually squeal "Kill Kill Kill" during pokemon battles...

and..."Take that! And that!"

Games do funny things to your head don't they?;)

Yoshi Yoshi Yoshi!!

I always play Yoshi...in any game...esp. Mario Kart.

I have a soft spot for him, since he has a nose like Snoopy, and makes similar squealy-yawny noises;)

Aawwwww yeah ThunderButt! Yoshi was my favorite in the original game, and I can still cause serious havoc with him.

I'm going to have to go and get this game now!!

note to self: mustn't neglect my Pokemon...

Honestly...I have a list as long as your arm (however long that is) of games I need to buy...if only I were loaded, and not staring at billage every flippin' month...I'll add it to the list lolol!

I haven't even started the new Zelda yet...I'm kinda afraid of being swallowed up in it and never leaving the house again...then I'd lose my job as well, and it would all go to ruin...

Last time my flatmate and I played Ocarina...we were playing 48 hours solid at one point...only stopping for the loo or a sandwich...getting your head into 'dungeon-mode' is a dangerous thing...

It took me a bus trip to macdonalds at 7am for bacon rolls to snap us both out of it!!

Zelda : Ocarina...Start to finish in 14 days lol, but Oh it was fantastic!!

Hahaha.

I don't own a game system of my own. I want to find a cheap old Turbo Grafix 16. Heh. I liked that old game system. And I want Parasol Stars and Bonk to play!

Never played either of those:/

I bet Vimster would know what they are tho...

*grin*

Parasol Stars sounds vaguely familiar.

It was some overly cute, easy game. I get distracted too easily though, so that's my kinda game. ;)

I have a bit of a graveyard of old comps here lol...

c64, c128, broken speccy, 2 amiga 1200s, Jaguar, n64, Gamecube, GB, GBC, GBA...

Literally a graveyard too...need to sort them all out sometime:/

(or fix them and set them up so I can play old games again)

I LOVED Barbarian on the c64...I was a fiend for it...

Flying neck chop every time...nobody stood a chance hehe:)

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - you're going to LOVE that. Although I had to sit through about half an hour of story and brief tutorials, once you get into it, well, it's damn good. You know the thing, basically just battles, and looks great.

Barbarian though, it was the best hack n slash game on the C64. Did you ever play Barbarian II? Same sort of thing, but you wandered about slashing away rather than being in an arena.

Turbo Grafx 16 was better known here as the PC Engine, although it was never officially sold here.
