YAY! sounds like you've had a good day!
fingers crossed your labret heals well
Retail therapy = cool :)
see you saturday - 7/8ish...
is the offer of loan of teh amp still open?
I had a super day:)
I'm sure it will, I've never had any problems with my ears - even the one I did at home (hehe)...
Second day, no swelling, not even crusty;)
I'll see you Saturday, and will bring the amp with me:) It has your name on it lol!!
Photos of your labret asap! *grins*
I had a similar experience with the numbing stuff, when I got my tongue pierced. As a result, literally everything was numb except my tongue. Blah :P x
I'll do some photos soon:) At the moment, I have the slightly longer prelim stud in...which will be changed to a nicer one in 7-14 days time;)
Going to have a plain silver ring I think;)
I squealed like a girl, albeit briefly, and I suppose I am one...even my throat was a bit numb lol!! I was thinking "I'm not going to be able to breathe in a minute"... Peculiar flashbacks of dentist rooms and 4 years of brace-wearing lol...for which I had 4 teeth removed!!
Is that just Plath's poetry? If it contains her prose, I'd like to recommend "Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams," if you haven't read it yet.
Just her poetry (and juvenilia) in one huge fat inky-sniffy volume...yum!!
I will look for it, but mustn't spend ANY MORE...nearly bought the Bell Jar as well, along with The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy by Tim Burton and many many other fabulous tomes...ooh and a lovely hardback old-style copy of Edward Lear's Nonsense Poems...
BUT I MUSTN'T!! NO!!!
"Step Away From The Bookshelf"
"Step Away From The Bookshelf"
followed closely by...
I tell you, they are haunting my dreams, my thoughts, my very essence of being...
Thankyou for those:))
I shall use them whilst I re-edit this post to add links!
the Gorge, hell that brings back memories!! :)
Trees cut down!!! council knobheads, no wonder it looks bare :( Never did like that sundial, they should have moved derrys clock there.
I always maintained that The Gorge (sit at the back and smoke, plenty of mirrors) is so-called because it's pink and lumpy inside and divided halfway down like a bronchial tube...I could be wrong lol!!
Yes, it looks bare and awful...I think the plan is to make a flat, landscaped 'avenue' all the way up...with the sundial being more visible. Just feels stark and horrid...will no doubt become a nasty wind tunnel too:/
I hate this city!!!
they do make a startling number of "it seemed like a good idea at the time"
They're in the middle of knocking down ALL of Drakes Circus atm...everywhere is almost flat...the old C&A building...barbican discounts (good riddance), right up to the banks/mothercare...
No idea what they're planning...probably some f**k ugly greenhouse like the Toys'r'us 'pavilion'...
Shiny Seagull Targets!!
I remember seeing the drawings and development plans for that about 15 years ago :)
Ooh, lovely day! I wish there were so many nifty things ot do near me :o)
Are you going to post pics of the new piercing? I would love to see it!
I will indeed, but I think I might wait till I have the ring in...(about 10 days).
At the moment its a piercing stud...slightly too long to account for possible swelling:)
