I'M MELTING!!! HALLOWEEN AIN'T TILL OCTOBER!!! (and such-like)

I notice that by my posting yesterday at 2am, you all missed reading a post :P

(that or I was rambling and had nothing worth saying...)

Anyway... I just woke up - yes, it's ten to six...but I was up since 1pm YESTERDAY (having slept from 6am)...laid in bed until 2 still nursing heatstroke, then got up and did bugger all till work in the evening...

Full, tedious, tappity night at work...then got home at 6am...

WENT IN TOWN AT 9AM THIS MORNING!!!

STAYED UP FOR 25 HOURS!!

Reason being?

Photoshoot and interview for Black Catz goth night...

I had been invited along by DJ Cat O' Nine Tails (Simon), Stealth (Lah), Mistress ToyAnna (Louise) and Dark Vampire (Lesley) to meet at 10am, have our photos taken and a quick interview for publicity with Katy (real name hehe), which will be in the Herald on Friday...

Cue a bunch of scary looking goths all dressed up and posing outside Good Companions with sunglasses on in bright sunlight...

Louise looked AMAZING with my black velvet bat mask, black lace fan and black rose... I expect I looked terrible in my corsetry and taffetta skirt...

We talked a bit about the 'goff scene' and the history of the club - we're all using our pseudonyms...so 'VampGirl' has probably been quoted as saying 'It's a good excuse to tart about in corsetry' or other such embarrassing witticisms...

*hides*

Anyway... We were all done bar the bar by lunchtime, Louise bought me a couple of cokes as I was dying by then, and then I went home to bed by 2pm... Picked up the black/white film I shot on my pointy-clicky Olympus from the chemist along the way; and, although there are some ok shots on there, I actually prefer the photos I took on my Praktica SLR!!!

*artsysnobbygrin*

I need coffee.

Hooble Toodle Doo!!!

.........................

The next Black Catz night will be held THIS SATURDAY, in the bar above Good Companions, Mayflower st, Plymouth. 9:30pm to 2am, Admission: 3 quid.

Oh, and I'm going to be doing the website soon;)
