Miss Von Trapp
[Mood |bouncybouncy]
[Music |Bruderschaft - Forever]

Listening to the cool music that vimster sent me for my birthday! Been up to mothers and collected my present - a BREADMAKER!!!

That *will* be fun...I shall be flour-covered from hereon in...

Been through all my old soffs because she is doing a carboot next week - mostly "NO! You shall NOT get rid of my cabbage patch kid/teddy/knitted tortoise!" etc etc

She's shown me her Wade Whimsies and some ebay stuff she is getting; quote of the day: "I'm going to start a collection of small jugs".

*snort*

Dad is getting overexcited about midi stuff he has been composing for school on Cubase, and going nuts over school lesson plans inbetween rushing out to do piano/keyboard lessons, choirs and stuff - the usual...hides in the study working for hours so we don't know where he is most of the time and goes out without telling people he's gone to collect music/see pupils etc etc...perma-busy!!

Only went for an hour and I'm all 'parented out' lol!!

Back now, have laundry to be getting on with - all my london stuff, so I'm having to scruff about in an old anime t-shirt and black theatre trousers (ie. baggy velvet things). Might make some bread later...

Will do darkroom tommorrow probably, after town gubbins and phonecalls I have to make to bank and stuff (grah!).

Sorry I couldn't make it out for your birthday visit to London...

I think we finally have our phone sorted out...except any messages (voice mails ot texts) reach us about 48 hours after the fact...

Hope you had a swell time, nevertheless!

Heh, we were afraid you'd be convinced that we hated you are were avoiding you! Nothing could have been further from the truth, of course. The phone was roundly cursed as we struggled to get it up and running.

Any timeframe for your return visit to London? You should try and make it back for Tenebrae or Dead and Buried.

Ooo ahhh, the smell of baking bread. You simply must use it if only do fill your place with that aroma.

Oh I shall!! Need to get a new set of scales and some sugar and olive oil (instead of butter), since I don't keep any in the house, and then it will be fresh-baked bread aroma all the sodding time!!

Oh, and it can also do gluten-free stuff, fruit cakes, pizza and dough and EVERYTHING!!!

(will be poring over the recipes for disaster later)

*grinning mischeviously* You realize this means I have to visit and buy you a round of good stout ale, eh?

*looks frantically through the spare parts pile, hoping to find a large airplane*

... and mmmmmmmmm, fresh bread is the best. :D

btw, you need to see Pirates of the Caribbean ... and Sleepy Hollow. Very good, the both of them.
