Miss Von Trapp
|||||Flesh For Lulu : Lucky Day||]|
missbumpkin is on her way over with Hammer Horror DVDs and beer...
We are going to stuff ourselves with jacket potato, beans and cheese and have a girly night in!
I feel a painting coming on... based on my 'Rose' dream/poem. Going to buy a HAUGE canvas this week and get on with it...
She's just arrived and we have to choose from:
Invisible Ghost (Lugosi)
The Corpse Vanishes (Lugosi)
Twins of Evil/Countess Dracula/Vampire Circus
...which would you choose??
We are going to begin with Delicatessen - it has subtitles, therefore it *must* be worth watching lol!!
given that i just watched it, i'd say blue velvet then delicatessen...
Have been watching Delicatessen - I am in a silly mood (only two cans of fosters)... My mother has a toy cuckoo that goes 'cuckoo' when you squeeze its tail... It was cuckoo-ing in the same key as the music at the end/dvd sounds on the choosings screen...
Gave me a ridiculous giggle for ages and ages lol!!
Ok, maybe one more fillum? I don't know. It's midnight, and I always go peculiar round about now...
Nicky is hiding behind the chair - I think I've scared her - the cuckoo incident was extremely random!!!
Lizzi is scary.
Help me somebody! Please! Help!
Actually having a jolly good time, but will we watch another film or won't we? Hmmmmmm...
I think we're going to watch Santa Sangre next...
Is that a Father Xmas who delivers alcohol??
Sounds good to me.
Santa Sangre must be seen to be believed...though it is hard to turn down the Hammer Horror.
Perhaps in a minute - when I've gotten over the cuckoo...
Will you get over the cuckoo my dear?
Only if I can find something else to torment you with...
(it's a full moon btw - bet you're sorry you came over now...)
Hah, sounds wicked. If i have a sex change, can I come?
Generally no, at least not in the same way.
I'd have to ask one of my transgender friends if it were medically possible after the chop.
Admittedly it's something of a major commitment for such a thing.
As it happens I avoided the chop, as you so delicately put it, and had a game of Literati, or at least was thrashed silly by an extremely talented player of the game - still enjoyable though, stretching the vocabulary. Hope you enjoyed your night too. [hugs]
i have a pressie for you by the way... what are you up to later?
Gotta go over to the old flat and hoover, retrieve my wonderful Dyson (purple glitter bug - woo!), collect plants from out back - I said 'out back' not 'the outback' - and probably the single bed if we can fit it on the roof.
Now I'm going back to bed. My dumb mother rang me and woke me, and I have work tonight:/
I saw vampire circus and twins of evil quite recently, so I have went with countess dracula and santa sangre(Sangre I have not seen)
Vampire Circus is fun, Twins of Evil is entertaining on account of the Playboy twins... But I found Countess Dracula (based on the Bathory story with Ingrid Pitt) to be rather dull actually...
Santa Sangre was FANTASTIC - bit of a freakshow, but nowhere near Tod Browning standards lol;)http://freaks.cinephiles.net/
