Heh yeah no kidding. I love mindless smashing. Peach is my favorite :)
Yoshi Yoshi Yoshi!!
I always play Yoshi...in any game...esp. Mario Kart.
I have a soft spot for him, since he has a nose like Snoopy, and makes similar squealy-yawny noises;)
Aawwwww yeah ThunderButt! Yoshi was my favorite in the original game, and I can still cause serious havoc with him.
I'm going to have to go and get this game now!!
note to self: mustn't neglect my Pokemon...
Honestly...I have a list as long as your arm (however long that is) of games I need to buy...if only I were loaded, and not staring at billage every flippin' month...I'll add it to the list lolol!
I haven't even started the new Zelda yet...I'm kinda afraid of being swallowed up in it and never leaving the house again...then I'd lose my job as well, and it would all go to ruin...
Last time my flatmate and I played Ocarina...we were playing 48 hours solid at one point...only stopping for the loo or a sandwich...getting your head into 'dungeon-mode' is a dangerous thing...
It took me a bus trip to macdonalds at 7am for bacon rolls to snap us both out of it!!
Zelda : Ocarina...Start to finish in 14 days lol, but Oh it was fantastic!!
I don't own a game system of my own. I want to find a cheap old Turbo Grafix 16. Heh. I liked that old game system. And I want Parasol Stars and Bonk to play!
Never played either of those:/
I bet Vimster would know what they are tho...
Parasol Stars sounds vaguely familiar.
It was some overly cute, easy game. I get distracted too easily though, so that's my kinda game. ;)
I have a bit of a graveyard of old comps here lol...
c64, c128, broken speccy, 2 amiga 1200s, Jaguar, n64, Gamecube, GB, GBC, GBA...
Literally a graveyard too...need to sort them all out sometime:/
(or fix them and set them up so I can play old games again)
I LOVED Barbarian on the c64...I was a fiend for it...
Flying neck chop every time...nobody stood a chance hehe:)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - you're going to LOVE that. Although I had to sit through about half an hour of story and brief tutorials, once you get into it, well, it's damn good. You know the thing, basically just battles, and looks great.
Barbarian though, it was the best hack n slash game on the C64. Did you ever play Barbarian II? Same sort of thing, but you wandered about slashing away rather than being in an arena.
Turbo Grafx 16 was better known here as the PC Engine, although it was never officially sold here.
