Music and Passion were always in Fashion!!! [Oct. 3rd, 2003|03:15 pm]
Miss Von Trapp
[Mood |crumply-fuzzy]
[Music |Diary of Dreams cd.]

Here I am, fuzzy and crumpled at 3 o'clock.

We recieved our scripts/parts at theatre officially last night. There are only 4 lead characters....Sultan/Scheherazade, Nurse/Grand Vizier...I'm the Grand Vizier...woo hoo!!

Other people are 'sheep person number 2' and 'Robber 9' and stuff...with some larger roles like 'robber chief', and 'ali baba' for the rest...the script is hysterical and I read a lot of it at work. Lots of lines...lots of yellow highlighter!!

Got back from work at 6am this morning, stayed up on da puter till about 7:30, then went to the shop for milk and supplies...

Had a cup of tea, and went to bed...was lying there at 9am this morning, listening to Diary of Dreams and trying to sleep and then my mother rang.

Cue 25 minutes of yes/no, as I recieve financial advise (which was useful) but then...news about my youngest sister's latest boyfriend...my middle sister's screaming wah! (baby)...and amongst many other points of topic...Barry Manilow's facelift!. She is a member of the BMF...not a dodgy racist group...in fact it's the Barry Manilow fanclub.

Indeed. My sisters and I were brought up on Barry. (sounds awful)...and know the words to practically EVERY song in his discography due to long car journeys and household cd playage...worse than chinese water torture...or religious indoctrination if you ask me hehe...

Anyway...finally got to sleep at about half past nine, and slept until now.

Crumpled and fuzzy-eyed I am. Need coffee I do.

Go to the kitchen I will.

Vampgirl (Elizabeth Hurley) is an aspiring musician who struggles in between bookings. She earns the ire of her boss, Tina (Famke Jannsen), who does everything in her power to get her in trouble. As they go on their mission, Vampgirl meets Richard (Jacky Chan) and they fall madly in love. Vampgirl gets amnesia, and thinks that she is married to Ian (George Clooney), before Richard reminds her of her true identity.

The Manilow reference is rather spooky, as I've been spitting out random lines from Bermuda Triangle for no good reason all day. It's not a bad song really, and he does what he does really well, I can't see why people slate him. Mind you, it's not my first choice of listening.

Yes, I heard about this facelift, and him wanting to keep the trademark hooter. Go, Barry.

Congrats on landing one of the lead roles. Super.

Right, back to the game, in this instance Tony Hawk's 3, my thumbs are killing me.

Cheerio, crumpled-one.

Probably one of the most groan-inducing rhymes in popular music.

We had a teacher at primary school who was a big Bazza fan. Once we did a project on South America and she told us all she was going to play us an example of South American music, upon which she whipped out a cassette player and treated us to Our Hero singing 'Copacabana'! (Although you couldn't really hear it for the sound of thirty nine year old chins hitting the floor...)

If only there was a dodgy racist group called the BMF, the crossover problems could amuse me to no end!
