Jesus Hector Christ on a Pedestal!!!!!

I've just finished (and just had a cup of tea and a cigarette) watching the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Tobe Hooper) on my own, in the dark, on the comp...

Oh Jesus!!!!!! My heart is racing...that is one relentless horrific fucking film...it got worse and worse and worse...

(pause for another cigarette)

I was supposed to be at rehearsals this afternoon, but I overslept and missed them:/

Yesterday I was in the theatre from 12 lunchtime till 9 o'clock at night, and then off to work till 6am in the morning, so you could say I was a touch knackered...

Panto rehearsals are going well, and that's what I did in the afternoon, then had a break for about an hour and a half in which I failed to do the last three clues of the 'quick crossword' (bloody liars!!) in the Guardian...

(why is it that OBOE is ALWAYS the answer to "Wind Instrument (4)" ??)

Then had Weird Cabaret rehearsals from 6pm onwards...did a LOT of REALLY good work...which I won't disclose here...ok, a clue...starting with carrying in a "dead" naked body wrapped in a sheet, whilst behaving like removal men discussing burgers...not telling you any more than that, it'll spoil it, and if you can't get to see it I'll post a full run through after the show on the 30th...

(oh, and I'm singing the Worm Song, so thanks to everyone who helped research that for me)

Following that, went to work through town...forgot it was sodding bonfire night...town was PACKED full of locals *shudder* as I walked to work...stuffing macdonalds, chips, setting off random fireworks (bastards)...

Got to work, had a pretty good night of it...but was still falling asleep in the last hour...got home at about 6:30am, went straight to bed, but was rudely awoken by the (dustmen) Tesco's home delivery chappie at 10am...food glorious food...

And consequently slept right through till about 3:30...

So I've been sat here with nothing to do, had to apologise to my director...and decided to watch a film...

Two cigarettes later and I'm still agitated...

Have bunged a pizza in the oven, have the tumble dryer humming comfortingly in the kitchen, and am off to work at 9...

Jui-ehh!!! and I are probably going to watch the NEW Texas Chain Saw Massacre film on Saturday...so I'll see how it compares...after what I've just seen I really don't think it will...

We also have a "dress-down" day at work on Friday...means you can wear non-dress-code stuff...blue jeans, rugby shirts etc...since Jui-ehh!! and I don't possess any of that we are having a mutual "dress-up" day...both coming in as goth-geisha or something...we were going to do school uniform (NOT in a St Trinians way) last time but we were told we weren't allowed...

Oh, and it's my wickle sisters birthday tommorow...so I have to go to my mothers...grah!! Well at least I'll get fed...but I won't be able to call anyone/go online etc etc and I'll have to only have one glass of wine since I'll be off to work at 9 from there.

Ok, over and out...need to wash dishes...

Oh indeed, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a warped masterpiece, it's that sort of 'workroom' with the blood all over the place that gets me, that and the meal.

Royal Mail, get a grip. I can just imagine you in your version of a school uniform... leave it at that ;)

Cheerio :)
