Look Out, There's A Monster Coming... [Jan. 8th, 2004|05:17 am]

[Music |Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band: Jazz, Delicious Hot, Disgusting Cold]

Went to my room at 7am yesterday morning after work, but started reading 'The Langoliers' from 'Four Past Midnight' by Stephen King, and didn't stop till I'd finished it entirely at approximately 11am...

Consequently, I woke up at half past seven in the evening, had barely enough time to get up, washed, dressed, and off to work by nine.

Picked up the post on the way out the door at 9pm and found to my delight that the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band cd had arrived...so I took it to work with me.

Got to work and realised I'd left my cd player at home...

Thankfully, I borrowed a workmates...so I had the delights of 'Jollity Farm', 'Mickey's Son And Daughter', 'Death Cab for Cutie' and the rest all night long...

I wonder if anyone heard me singing along to 'I'm Bored'??

Well, I WAS!!!

Finished work at 3:30am, but now I have to stay up till 11am at the latest for a food delivery from Tescos. I'm going to get hardly any sleep today, as I'm off out to the Arts Centre cinema at 5pm...

*grumbles and applies matchsticks to her eyes*

Viv Stanshall was a genius, and somehow managed to combine the absurd with wit and intelect. And of course Neil Innes, who went on to write all the songs for Monty Python and The Rutles, amongst other things.
